Bill Beigel In The NewsSOUTH ORANGE COUNTY CALIFORNIAGENEALOGICAL SOCIETY May 20th, 2006 World War II & Korean War Research Presented By William L. Beigel Nearly everyone has had a relative serve in the military during World War II or the Korean War. And, would you believe that the 20th of May will be ARMED FORCES DAY! For this reason, we have invited William Beigel to speak to our group regarding military records. He will discuss the techniques used for researching military and casualty records, their genealogical implications, and the fascinating level of detailed information that can be located. Also, he will discuss the interpretation of military records and include a number of case studies in the presentation. Mr. Beigel speaks to many historical and genealogical groups as well as local libraries and schools. He has been featured in a number of periodicals and served as a guest panelist on a TV special commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the D-Day landings.
